'A'- "After having problems with anxiety for a number of years, I decided to try therapy in the hopes of being able to overcome this. Throughout my time in therapy I have noticed a great change in not only my anxiety, but also in myself. I have learnt many ways of dealing with and overcoming the problems I was having on a daily basis. Therapy has been extremely helpful and that is down to Dan's approach of making sure I understand exactly what has been causing these problems and how I can gradually overcome them after every session."

'N' - "I was very anxious and dubious about receiving therapy. However, Dan was extremely patient and from our first sessions I felt that maybe the therapy would help.  He taught me initially about OCD and ensured I understood why I thought and behaved in a certain way. 'S' - "I struggled with my emotions and developed OCD, which led me to seeking help and taking up Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Dan was amazing, he reminded me continuously that I am not going mad and this is all part of my grief. He taught me a variety of techniques and challenged me to overcome my fears.

CBT helped me deal with my emotions, change my thought processes which in turn changed my behaviour. I started to understand my own worth and stopped being so hard on myself. I was able to complete treatment and get rid of 90% of my OCD.

I needed a kick in the right direction and you have done that for me so I am very grateful to you."

'R' - "I had an 8 week course of therapy with Dan via Skype as I was having a lot of problems with self-esteem, loneliness and substance abuse.

I never expected to make such incredible progress. I felt really comfortable discussing my challenges with him and he helped me rediscover a positive attitude towards socialising and welcoming love into my life – something I neglected for a long time.

Dan is a fantastic listener, but I really recommend listening to what he has to say. He didn’t indulge me with woolly platitudes - he offered an honest, no-nonsense, genuine way to get better.
